Industry insiders

So come on chaps, at least one of you has to be either working for, or on good terms with someone who works for, one of the big cheeses in the Quiz Machine world.

* People imparting knowledge about games which could not possibly be known without inside help...

* Phrases like "Demmerz is God" appearing in quiz machines?? Surely only someone who posts on this board and enjoys banterizing with the other users would go to that extent?

Apart from David Healy, I'd put money on more than one of you having links with the other side...

I'm going to do some investigating. You mark my words...

I too would be interested in uncovering some contacts - I've a few potential games ready and waiting... :)

like the avatar for this sleuthing exploit Your Eminence.

i have suspicions, as far as i'm concerned industry folk are welcome here:
Johnny Wishbone is an insider, as is Mat Ingram, i can't pigeon-hole Watergate though. Nic was a gwhl employee who used to post some good stuff but he seems to have been gagged.

I also know of a couple of people who look in but don't often post. Quizard is almost certainly industry, he is often around but only reading.

I can only speak for myself but I'm definitely not an industry insider - if I were, I'd have been fired years ago for moaning about how rubbish most of the modern games are and how things were so much better in the old days!

Thank you gentlemen, for helping me with my enquiries.

I'm still rummaging through my clues, but in the meantime, I'm wondering how certain parties have knowledge of the W**d-*p dictionary in minutae?

Myself and the other Bobsketeers are certainly kosher. A lot of our dictionary knowledge is based on trial and error. On my site you can see in the "long words" bit, I point out that they may well fail to be accepted... I was also recently scuppered when the game didn't accept my effort of TEMPESTUOUSNESS (if I'd known in advance, wouldn't have bothered of course).

This could, of course, be an elaborate double bluff... ;)

I'm waitng for a question from the Quiz forum to come up in a new game...

mmm no TEMPESTUOUSNESS..
that's got me thinking..

HAve you seen it accept TANGENTIAL eqw?

PS. Why do we not refer to W**d-*p by name? Is it like actors with that Scottish Play?

Because all threads end up talking about Word Up, which did not come out of Revolution Games, and is thus not worth talking about.

Well let's ask the thread originator, which case are you trying to solve here?

"The Hidden Insiders"

or..

"The Missing Dictionary of Dr. WU"

??

You see, I spoke the banned words, and now the thread has gone off topic.

No. I'm trying to get the thread ON topic. What is cardinal looking for here, a list of insiders or a list of words?

Oh Sorry,
Words for what?
