hi i would like to know if its possible to earn a living playing swp's, I currently earn a decent living gambling (horses & poker) and am looking for a new challenge, i have been reading threads on here to try and make out if its viable and worth me putting any time into it, but i am still undecided, my thinking of going about it would possibly be to buy a machine for home use so i could master a particular game and possibly write down the q's and a's and store them in a database, then using a mobile phone and a helper whilst playing, the helper could quickly search the answer for the particular question and give the machine player the correct answer in apropriate time.
This may be totally unrealistic, but i would like to hear any views you may have.
p.s. I realise that especially the newer quiz machines hold many thousands of questions, so to ask someone down the phone and for them to reply with the correct answer in the time you have may be too much to ask but if the q's and a's are kept on a computer database in some kind of alphabetical order, or even better some kind of voice recognision to save manually finding the answer, then this concept may be viable?

I look forward to any replies on this :)

I used to have such fanciful notions. But with modern machines, even if you learnt every single question, it could just throw a spoiler question at you (a randomly generated question based on other questions in the database).

To an extent, it would still be possible to communicate with a chum on the internet to get answers right. They'd need to be a speedy typer but I guess it is possible - although on some games the timer goes down faster than (*you can amusingly insert your own euphemism for something or someone that likes giving blowjobs). The old Millionaire was renowned for it.

But if you don't have a top-drawer general knowledge, I wouldn't even begin to consider it.

Is this supposed to be an April fools wind-up?

You are only supposed to do it up to 12 noon you know
