2 new games. pub quiz jackpot £10 can ask people in the pub quiz FOR HELP at various points. 5 rounds I believe.
More interestingly Tetris incorporating a quiz jackpot £20?. Beautifully made game , reasonable questions, bonus rounds.Unfortunately speeds up like the non-quiz Tetris.promising (for a few quid)

does the tetris bear any similarities to the old swp game? that was a good little earner. the cabinet it was on was an odd bird though, not seen it before or since, it also had an SWP strip poker game with some of the most unfortunate-looking models you are likely to see.
saying that, i only ever saw old tetris in one venue with when i was an accountant in earl court (yes, i know).

I've seen this on an Ind:E I think. Is it called Quiz Night? That had a team of three helping you. I think the help is on the level - it auto took the right answer for me a few times, so it it doesn't, presumably it's "not sure".
It offered me a pair match board to double my winnings after I'd won a quid though, so presumably that makes the jackpot £20.

It is based on the Tetris of old. Late 80's there were quite a few TETRIS'S about and I saw somebody take out £35 (was a £10 JACKPOT)in a very short period of time. Tried to learn it myself , got a ticket after spending 2 hours in a pub and failing miserably. The new one does not depend on clearing the lines high up as far as I can see although I only had a quick go so I might be wrong.

The Tetris game seems more of a standard quiz game than something that would appeal to skilled players of the arcade game. It seems to offer a reasonable chance at £3 to £5 and then spoilers appear to stop you winning anything over that. Not the worst thing I've seen though by any means.
The old Tetris SWP is still the machine that I have witnessed the most impressive playing on ever - in the early 90s I watched 4 guys play on one in a pub called the Bonding Warehouse in York and each win the Jackpot (£10?) in turn. Clearly just about any game will get harder if someone wins the top prize so I imagined they were organised like a relay team with the most skilful player at the end.
