Scratch My Snatch

Anybody had more than £4 out of this? Most of qualifying scores I've seen are around the 9000 mark, which is possible unless you get two of everything (it takes ages just to complete one card then)

I've lost a few times in the endgame after risking my poxy Cherry £1, but have picked up the grapes (£3) and Melons (£4) often enough to convince me that's it's worth the risk. Never been brave enough to carry on after that though - anybody know what happens if you do?

I've found it pretty hard to get through to the endgame - often it starts giving kipper questions well before one approaches the qualifying score. Too often one has to rely on getting three cherries and building up the qualifying score which takes a while. When I did get through to the endgame I did what you did and took the cash - all looked a bit high risk to continue.

everything just keeps advancing in value and cheeries are still lose. Very tight as it can mug you off with little/no warning really

i played my second game of this yesterday. 12000 was easy enough then it offered £2. sod that. i see what you mean about the endgame though. i took £3 off the next offer and went to play a proper game.

I've played this four times on different ItBoxes with the points targets varying considerably each time. Each time I got killed by spoiler questions long before reaching the target and so I have already consigned this one to my mental dustbin of 'Don't Play' games. I may be wrong on this one but after playing hundreds of games in my time, I'm normally pretty good at spotting a dud.

Have to say I don't find it particularly lucrative, but it has become my game of choice for the last 50p (replacing Hangman which always seems to be in killmood of late)

The points appear to come down progressively every game until you qualify, which means if I'm in Thicko City, these are generally good for a few quid. (But then most decent games are good for a few quid in Thicko City).

That does ring a bell - I believe they make that claim in the 'Rules' bit on the front screen (or am I getting it confused with Coronation Street?).

I've been on the endgame about a dozen times and never had more than £3.
I've gambled a few times and never successfully after the first time. It's a total joke that you clearly have no control over what's going on and if someone did make it to say £7 who in their right mind is going to risk it for a higher prize?
Incidentally I've seen 6000 points to qualify and even then it killed me after gambling £2.

I finally got a few quid out of this at the weekend (Mikel Arteta's stunning goal apart, probably the highlight of my weekend :( ) and what seems to happen if you don't collect the first prize you win is that all the prizes increase for the next round but the one you didn't collect gets set to be 'Game Over', which given that it is most likely to be cherries and that they are likely to be the most common fruit on the grid seems a bit of a con. I continued as it's virtually against my religion to collect £1 and managed to get £5 on melons. The target had been 6000 and on the next game was 19000, so maybe 9000 is a reasonable par score to indicate when this one is worth playing.

I gave this another go last night and discovered a "nice feature" which sums up with stunning simplicity what is wrong with so many modern games - if you win a £1 and decide to continue only to then lose via something which is outside your control, i.e. simply getting three cherries again rather than actually answering questions incorrectly, you not only get a big fat £0 for your efforts but the points total is then reset back up to a much higher level as if you HAD actually won something. So you lose out on two counts!

You couldn't make it up...

Confirmed - I decided to gamble last night as the target had been c. 6,000 points so I thought it might be paying. Sadly I was wrong. I don't think it's worth gambling in the endgame under any circumstances.
