i got my 100th different qualifying long word yesterday (not counting duplicates and allowing multiple ownership of the same word) anticlimactically it was INDIFFERENT. so i did a very unscientific tally of each team's performance.

anyway, as of the latest update on EWQ's website, this is the league table

My own efforts tonight, detailed on the main thread, have put me clear of Legendre at least - another 93 or so to go...

Another interesting WU list, thanks UP (I saw it ages ago, when you posted it, but forgot to give due credit at the time). I reckon this list, along with EWQs list of owners of the longest word starting with each letter of the alphabet, should be put together to form the basis of some kind of WU almanac of records! In any case, it'd be good to see both lists periodically updated.

PS another challenge I thought of when playing yesterday - what's the longest word you can make from the grid shown in the background of the WU menu screen? The best I noticed was VENOM, can anyone better that?
