Verdictarisations?

After earning enough gems to reach the 'play' stage, you have to get across a grid in ten moves to get the money. Hard to explain to those who haven't played it yet.

But for those who have, do you think it's possible to get hold of a camera that'll take enough super-quick snaps so that you can play it back and see in which sqaures the " move => " thing appears?! A camera that doesnt' cost a bomb, that is.

Between me and my mate we can usually catch 6/7 squares before it stops. £5 for not tripping an alarm is an alarmingly (no pun intended) good payout for sometimes only answering about six questions.

Only downside to this game is that the spoiler questions all seem to be about obscure directors, and the year in which they were born. OK if you know your obscure directors, but I don't think people do :(

It's not a bad little game; essentially very similar to Maygay's 'Strike It Rich' which was in common circulation three or four years ago - perhaps a little less winnable because of the unfair true / false questions, as you allude to. I expect use of a camera on the last round would be theoretically possible; however, based on my experience from Strike It Rich, the Heist endgame should be winnable with two players if each player concentrates on one half of the screen i.e. each player only has to focus on five squares not ten. Not put this to the test as I'm not sure I've ever played Heist with anyone else, but worth trying.

I saw a Strike it rich as little as 2 months ago... sadly though i was out with my brother, who is as much use at SWPs as a no armed man in swimming race.

So unable to win due to his ineptitude at being able to work out where 5 arrows are, i went back a week later with a mate, only to find the machine had changed it's game package :( .

Ah well.

I always used to think that this was the way to beat Strike It Rich but as I rarely, if ever, play with anyone else, I never really exploited this as a method of winning. My guess would be that Heist would be similar.

One thing to bear in mind though is that for those of us on here that play virtually any type of electronic machine, we would probably consider it a relatively easy task to spot where 5 arrows or questions are in the time you are given to see them but I was always amazed when the occasional stray punter who was watching me play was completely useless at this if I asked them to lend a hand (and I don't think it was because they were in fact lurking experts hoping to make me lose hence leaving the money for them! ).
