B) Consumer trends (I think when the quiz machine boom cam the majority of players were students. These student no longer play and the new breed aren't interested)
C) Poor game design (too many awful games on current machines, especially on the front screen of games)
D) The decline in the pub trade

That's a good point about fewer students playing.I still see some playing from time to time,but I often think that given all the bad stuff that I and others have gone on about ad nauseum,they must think that the quizzy looks a bit rubbish compared to mobile games.Getting more students playing again would be a significant plus certainly,there's also been a decline in machines in University unions.But again,as ever,decision making seemed poor:quite a lot of the unions seem to have (or had) quite old machines so therefore they didn't have any of the recent stuff like Pointless or Pixel This which don't look so old and clunky.
