It's all a bit odd. I reckon that the array of current games is possibly better than it was a year ago. The problem is finding pubs with them in! And for all Pointless is the best addition in ages, it's still pretty much a £5 JP.

Poor design on these, search option wont work when your in Casino,Tourny section but works if your in quiz section and there is games on there that are not on the lists such as HOTT and Skill Darts...all with max games remaining because only a few will see them!

This unit definitely had no SWP games on it. This software is a conversion kit made by this lot:

Quote: "Turn your old SWP into high performing AWP in 10 minutes." Nice LOL.

I don't know how those Storm Games keep going. It's very rare to see their products in an arcade or pub. I thought most pubs would be renting this sort of kit anyway, so it's up to the distributors to convert it and in this area, can't say I've seen one yet. There are still certain gentrified areas complete with an air of institutionalised academia, where the pubs host SWP but no AWP. So for now, look for the lights in these sort of places.

I'm on about the "4 quarters" menu versions, that one you pictured there looks shit.

"turn your hard to navigate gameswarehouse into a tacky looking Super Nintendo in just 10 mins!" is what they should be saying.

They talk shite E.G pioneers in digital AWP gaming
Really? Games Media were doing that many years ago.
Nevertheless I admire one thing about the company bringing out SWP product in these times.

Alarmed to find both the swps in my locals gone as of new Year but as barman told me and think has been said on this forum before the swp was taking 20 quid a week and the fruit machine was taking 300. That's it right there. They've replaced it with one of these multi fruit machine monsters which is a sad sight. . Like paragoon says above the current line up is pretty good too

Casual quizzer input:

I just played The Chase on a Wetherspoons quiz machine. A decent quiz game, seems fair most of the time. In fact, I enjoyed it enough that I played it a second time.

Two games was a lengthy and enjoyable run for my money, especially as I managed to take down both Hegerty and the Sinnerman, each time for the massive sum of £1.75. However, having finished my second game, I realised I was left with £2 to collect, £1.50 to play, and around 8 minutes till the last train (a 5 minute walk away). So I collected the £2 and left the rest behind.

Questions:

Will a cheque will be forthcoming for the remaining winnings?
Assuming so, do I need to let them know or will it be sent directly to my bank account?
Is it any wonder they've alienated the casuals?

played one the other day and together with the pound coins coming out was a £2 coin with a thistle on the back (1986 commonwealth games Edinburgh) first one ever minted. what are the odds of that!
