Can we have an end of year poll?

Post by paragoon »

Like best and worst games etc? This seems to have been the worst year in living memory for the quizzing community but it might be fun. Or would it just result in whatever we voted top being immediately removed by the enemy within? :(
Categories could be:
Best game
Worst game
Best machine
Worst machine
Most destroyed by revamp game
Most improved by revamp game (none I'd imagine!)
Most missed
Lowest prize on offer/won
Highest prize on offer/won
any more?

Best Game: By Any Means.

Worst Game: Perm any from the seeming 100's which pay out less than your stake as a prize. Open the box a leading contender.

Best Machine: Paragon-head and shoulders above in a poor competition.

Worst Machine: Can't remember it's name but the one that has just about all of the games that are short-listed for the "winner" of worst game and thinks it's OK because it has the Monster 50p version of Star Wars.

Destroyed by Revamp: Hex. The new categories are ridiculous.

Improved by revamp: You are right "none"

Most Missed: Joint Award-Bullseye and Bullseye skill darts. The most upsetting event of 2011 by a country mile.

Lowest Prize On Offer/Won: 10p on the ridiculous Monopoly Streets Ahead.

Highest Prize On Offer/Won: £39.00 on PMP before the game was pulled.

Joe Public voter one speaks up

Best game:Monopoly Hot Property...Keeps my busy
Worst game:Either Bakers Dozen or Over the Brink.
Best machine-Black egg cabinets. Have my faves on it
Worst machine-Anything with Open.
Most destroyed by revamp: Pints make Prizes, not that I liked much anyway
Most improved:Couldn't say. Not played enough games for long enough to tell.
Most missed: We had a Caesars Palace 2 until earlier this year. That'll be missed lol
Lowest prize on offer: an odd 4 or 6p cashpot on Hot Property
Lowest won: 50p I reckon. Had lower TIOLI styles but left
Best prize: £15.50 pot on Eggheads, or the more obv 20 on YHW£20
Best won: Just a £6 cashpot on Monop. Had an easy streak on Pub Quiz when playing with me father until he poked Groundhog Pete about 3 from the end lol
