Coin error call landlord

I'm sure we have all encountered paragons saying 'hopper error - call engineer' but this was a new one on me. Anyone have an inkling? I'd love to think it was something sinister as the guy who achieved it is a twerp.

Would love to reply with something interesting but I don't quite understand what you mean here?

Saw the "call landlord" message on one in a spoons yesterday. Was in there a while and no-one went near it, no sign of any engineer either. If its still like that later in the week I'll see if I can find out what happened to it.

Ive had this(also in spoons),played fine with pound coins, but upon trying a £2 coin up come the same message.
Had the same problem before with error message coming up after inserting a £2 coin, but playing fine after any other coin.
Wheni questioned bar staff about the call landlord errori was simply given my £2 back and had m/c switched off after hearing"not again!"froma fed-up barmaid.
