At this very minute, there is a user called 'aspy' perusing the forums. Who could they be?

Ah yes, VB probably thought you were 'A SPY' (from one of the machine companies perhaps) when you are probably just 'ASPY' which is short for ASPEL or something similar. Not Michael Aspel I presume!

In any case, welcome.

There must be some spies. I played Bullseye today and the question on music was Which band had a hit with Word Up?

And that is the page you get on wikipedia when you type in word up for the game.

The time to start worrying is when you see the question "Which FruitChat mod has a topless woman as his avatar?" ;)

Was the answer GUN or Cameo? I think GUN got to number one, but Cameo did the original.

It was Cameo which I knew from Wikipedia. Never heard of Gun.

Gun is a Scottish rock band that had #1 (I think) with, in 1994 (again, I think...), a more riff/guitar solo type version of the song. Their first three albums were OK but then they did this strange much softer rock album with a phone number as the title, pastel orange background and picture of the singer's face with dyed blonde hair, and queer songs. I don't know whose phone number it was.

Has a snippet of the Word Up song to listen to. I was utterly wrong it was only #8. Anyway, listen to the songs from the "phone number" album on that site and tell me they aren't gash...

Incidentally, gallus is Glaswegian slang, sort of means being cool, or feeling great.
