Sure this has been discussed before but is this a well known means of the machine illegally protecting itself when you are about to take the £10.

i had this once very early on between a £9 semi and the £10 final. but in the times i've played it since (including on the same terminal) i haven't had any further issues.

however, the non-payment of winnings glitch has gone on so long that it has got beyond frustrating. on this point i like NS's quote about where to attribute blame.

would you do the honours NS?

Local bar round my way charges a fiver for a semi Monday-Thurs.

I'll get my coat.

Pleased to oblige, although I should add that it is often attributed to Old Boney (or should that be Old Boner based on where Ross has taken the conversation? )

"Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence."

Also why is this suddenly now only a £2 jackpot ???

No prizes upto the final then only £2 if you win the final AND it wont budge. As soon as i got the £10 at the weekend that was that.£2 max prize now.

Bad enough them advertising it as a £20 jackpot when its a £10 with the chance of a further £20 IF you get double prizes.

Paragon plus if it matters.

Yes some thoughts please Dr Paragon on this one, its a very well designed game and all, but surely it should play fair!!! £2 max prize is a joke for a £1 play game!

I've got numerous ones like this around my way, been that way for a while now. How much does it need to take back to get out of this mood?

1. Games Warehouse now having got the major slice of the market are getting complacent (similar to itbox and gamesnet before them)
2. Games Warehouse are employing programmers that are so inept they havent yet worked out how to sign up to Fruitchat.
3. It is a definite but stupid ploy to maximum income

pick one or more of the above..

They cannot be ignorant that their machines are rubbish due to their programming. When I get a non payout in a pub I encourage the publican to replace it with any machine even Games Media.

Problem is cool a glitch like this is not even a non-payout as the prize level you have accumulated just disappears. Unless the publican saw it happen or understands the game then you would not be able to explain it in a million years.
