Apologies if this has been asked / answered before...

Can anyone confirm if there is a reason / way to stop the Connect 4 SWP game from resetting mid game, taking the 50p credit and returning to the Menu?

I'm not referring to the "Content Error" message that appears when the game software has clearly been removed but when you can actually play the game and sometimes complete it but other times it just exits back to the menu at a random moment with no error or anything.

It's a glitch within the software. You should notice it's on the Art & Literature questions. Just a pain in the arse to put up with :x

Just seems a bit strange as Ive got 3 of them that I used to be able to take £100+ per week from but they've all started doing this now and it makes it very difficult to make any profit.

I thought it must be something to do with question updates. Maybe I'll try and stay clear of the Art and Lit questions if it's possible.

On a (vaguely) related note, the By All Means game on the Paragon in one of my locals has a very odd glitch in that it has an anti-Australian bug - it works fine right until the journey (by canoe I think) between stages 6 and 7 when you would normally land on the sands of Australia. It crashes out of the game at that point, losing all memory of your winnings in that game. You therefore have to remember to collect whatever prize you have gained at the end of stage 6 but it still catches me out occasionally. I've not seen this (or anything like it) on this game in any other location.

Thought it was my imagination but has now happened more than once.As football is my weakest subject never really got any good at this game.Got after hundreds of bloody games to the last question.Got it right but instead of the jackpot after booting the ball in the back of the net found myself back at the beginning of the last section!

Its because you have done them too much, now its losing its memory on Art & Lit questions. Not a problem though, you just have to know 3 different routes and work it out so you miss the Art & Lit.

Small tip :- It doesn't matter if your last question is Art & Lit. Different set of questions you see.

It seems strange that the machines still have connect4 on them as with a £5 jackpot the collector/engineer/company would know whats going on particularly as it seems to be public knowledge how to win and the new connect 4 was re-configured to prevent it.

also if you know you cant get out of the art & lit as theres a few of them you can get a lower question wrong on that column to move the questions down so the computers turn lands on art & lit instead.

Where do you live? I'm guessing somewhere pretty remote!

I've only just lost most of my workers, still got one, takes a month to take a score though.

Teesside.

They aren't remote locations, busy town centre pubs / bars. Local suppliers that's all.

Plus there's always the chance you can get C4 back onto machines where its been removed too....

Naughty, but also unlikely. Most companys have hard deleted them, meaning they will probably be on the menu when you are 'naughty' but will error when you try to play the game.

Others have disabled the means of being 'naughty'.
