a coup for fruitchat twice yes twice Ive managed to get on this esteemed show. Can I make it three times? tune in next week if youve got nothing better to do.First time I was called sad for complaining about muppets who pluralise the English language. Most annoying example woman says to friend sees you laters babes when the friend leaves the pub.Would like to complain about tv presenters who smoke spliffs or the quality of the Games Warehouse product but fear my time on the show would be short.

on Word Soup any mass noun can be pluralised. it just shows how many INCORRECTNESSES are in circulation. Cool, I'm with you on this.
and Richard Bacon should think twice before being the most obvious answer to his own question.

Why don't you complain about getting thrown out of a Litten Tree pub for winning on a quiz machine? You' haven't shut up about that since you arrived on this site 5 years ago.

Unless I possess pyschic powers I could not have been going on about the Litten Tree pub banning as I joined the forum in January 2006 and the banning did not occur until late March 2006 , appearing in the newspapers in May 2006.
However I thank you for giving me another skill to add to my CV erroneous as it is and suggest that QM avoids games with any mathematical skill as Jan 2006 - May 2010 does not equal anywhere near five years!

After castigating Quizmaster for getting his facts wrong I do the same thing.I stand corrected.
As the only drugs Ive ever taken are medicinal and allegedly performance enhancing (creatine and various powders) the whole subject of drugs I admit I know little

ops:
October '98: Blue Peter presenter Richard Bacon was sacked from the popular children's television show after he admitted taking cocaine.
An early version of Blue Peter's distinctive theme music
The head of BBC children's programmes, Lorraine Heggessey, said: "It is sad that such a talented presenter as Richard Bacon has not only let himself and his colleagues down but, most important of all, he has let down the millions of children who watch Blue Peter."
BBC management is determined to protect Blue Peter's name
Richard Bacon, 22, of Chiswick, west London, told the News of the World: "I have been stupid and regret making a silly mistake experimenting with drugs.
"But I have learned the lesson the hard way and I hope it serves as a lesson to lots of other young people. I would also like to apologise to all loyal Blue Peter viewers."
Ms Heggessey added: "For 40 years, Blue Peter has been a force for good, providing positive role models for children to follow and helping them to become responsible and caring adults. It is vital that nothing tarnishes that reputation.
"Richard accepts that he left us no option but to terminate his contract immediately.
"He regrets his actions and has apologised to the Blue Peter team and to all Blue Peter viewers."
Mr Bacon apologised to viewers in a statement released through the BBC.
He said: "I fully accept and agree with the decision that has been taken.
"I regret what I did but it was in my personal time and I therefore hope that it does not reflect on the show.

I've been trying to get through to talk about this guy playing the quizzer in my local last week. He kept going on about how he got into playing quiz machines, and insisted on giving me some really basic hints to help me 'improve my returns when playing'.
He told me that in the actual week before he saw somebody (engineer or collector) bring up the display on the paragon he had been playing, showing history input of £600, and payout of over £24,000. I have no reason to disbelieve him, but he did go on about wanting to be in the paper, and something about being 'teabagged' in the Litten Tree. At that point I made my excuses and left.
