Is it just me or do Games Warehouse have the most unreliable (by percentage) and machines that rip you off.
Today I attempted to play 5
Two worked.
Two switched off
One switched on didnt register credit.

3 SNEAKY primarily games warehouse rip-offs
(1) you put your money in the unit.It doesnt register.
(2) you win.your credits disappear when press collect
(3) you press collect. Error message comes up call engineer.credits diappear.
1+2+3 games warehouse wins you lose!

the guys at this company are friendly and knowledgeable.According to a rival company this forum is swamped by gw employees masquerading as punters so please someone in the know reply to my concerns. We are in the 21st century not the 1980's!

Not sticking up for anyone in particular, but I find that point (1) you mention above happens most frequently to me on ItBoxes. :(

GWHL's Twitterings have been a bit quiet recently, all still on-line, I guess?

They are shipping these machines out before any proper testing. Quantity before Quality. I hear there testing team is pretty poor.

Have they fixed the creditboard error since 'The Last Question' has been introduced?

Nope, happened to me on Sat night. Only had 50p worth of credit left in the machine, thankfully collected the £5 box win on By Any Means prior to the reboot.
