says its a 'new' game on Gamesnet menu19 but it may have been around a while as Im not a great fan of Gamesnet at present.
made by BIGFIZZ (same company as word up/soup I believe)
9 letter grid make as many words as you can
inputting same word loses time
can change grids when grid exhausted
50 pts bonus for 9 letter word
could this be the next big thing for the bobster and his ilk?

cheers Cool, good spot. potentially it sounds okay, anagramming is fine so long as the wordlist is responsible. but max-nine might be a bit unambitious. word games come and go. they tend to fall between the cracks of:
a. speed games (word wall, bookworm)
b. strategy games (dungeon dosh, text tiles)
c. feeding frenzy (scrabble, word cube)
d. crap (boggle, word wise)
all these games have been and gone, so why is bigfizz trying to gild the lily? word (so)up is by far the best word game on SWP and it must have been targeted right to oust all the inferior pretenders.
i'll happily play a won tenner through WS, so long as i also have a good pint. on most other games i am trying to win.

Boggle's good!
Don't like the sound of losing time for inputting same word again - it's hard to remember what you've stabbed in previously.

Wasn't there another relatively recent one that penalised duplication?

Yeah - Word Blox doesn't allow duplication of recently played words.

Found a Buzzword - not a cash cow, by the looks of it.

Found it to be a lot like Word Soup as in it tends to only pay out a quid now and again.

The word list it uses is large, hence three of the 9s that I managed to spot when I played the game today: HISTORIFY, SUSCITATE and PASSBANDS.
The odds of the 9 being a common word are probably quite low.
On the bright side, all you have to do is memorise all the possible 9s and each set of words that can be built from its letters and the game's cracked: £2 guaranteed at least.
