Have you played the new games, or are you just making a sweeping statement based on past shite
PS - Blockbuster is shite. Kind of game that makes you wonder how it ever got past the "what about a game like this...." stage

Assuming the original poster's list is correct, that does sound pretty disappointing - on the plus side a few of the really bad games are going but the new DOND is hugely inferior to the old one - it gives you the 250,000 box with the predictability of a clock ticking - and the other games sound a real ragbag, certainly as far as the small subset of players who read these pages are concerned.
In other news, that absolutely awful new Ind:e release is popping up a bit more. That one has absolutely no plus side - what WERE they thinking of?

I've not seen this out on general release yet, but of course did see some of this product on my last trip to GWHL.
Pluses look to be the release of 'Dr Who: Revenge of the Daleks', which on an initial play at GWHL looked to be a big improvement on the current version, and possibly the release of 'MOTD: Road To Glory', which I'll need to look at in detail. Good to see 'Snakes and Ladders' and especially 'Pot The Lot' going after a long and undeserved residency on the Paragons as well - both terrible games. On the negative side, disappointed to see 'Hangman's Haunted House' go - yes, it's a pretty old-school title, but still good fun, offers value for money, and a good chance of a decent-ish prize. And the 'DOND' swap looks bad news as well: as others have said, there doesn't look to be much value in the new edition (initially at least). Does the departure of 'Bullseye' mean that franchise will have no presence on the new issue? If so, that will be a big departure for one of the longest serving (and I imagine) most punter-popular of games (in its various forms).

hmm smart move (NOT) taking of those banned type games and introducing:
1 Deal Or No Deal new. End game is a no no.
2 Hold Em Outlaw poker. Oh come on this is just silly
3 Prize Pyramids. Card Game

I made a slight mistake with the poker, it comes under the megatouch world play for fun section.. the new play for fun games are;
Super boxxi
jolly pirates
lucky 11's
luxor survival
texas hold'em 4
outlaw poker
None of which are prize games so of no interest to us really...

Had a quick go of MOTD:RTG. Was exactly the same game as PMP just with a graphical makeover and different categories. Won £1 on my first go and had to go as my friend turned up. I do wonder what the Pull the Barmaid powerup is called

Ooh, PMP - there's potential there for Istenem to expunge over his kitchenware.

Well, it would be nice for someone to have
something to enthuse over re that new release. I on the other hand will have to remember the wise words of my grandmother who often told me 'If you can't say anything nice, say nothing'. Hence:
NOTHING

i played this new MOTD hangman game once and won £8, will need to look closer at the gameplay to work out proper strategy but, by and large, i'd agree that it does look like a PMP clone. so yes, it is my sort of game; not hugely edifying but looks like it will pay for the beers.

There's something very interesting about that new Dr. Who. Please don't ask me, as a refusal to divulge information often offends.
