bejewweled/ what's your favourite colour

Post by Istenem »

bejewelled is not really my sort of game but you have to try out every title. i realise i'm behind the SWP times still as real life has kept me busy lately, but i must say the tunnel effect between rounds on bejewelled had me reaching for the pans.
don't much like the game but the frippery is a diversion.

i quite liked the choose your colour game despite tarrant (my favourite colour ever is blue! :) ), i imagine it is some sort of TV tie-in but i wasn't familiar with it. (my best favourite colour is lellow!! :) )
anyway it seems quite clever in its gameplay and uses the innate human conflict between greed and risk-aversion in a more obvious and head-slapping way than other games. my real favourite colour in the world ever is red !!! and it has such an infantile premise that tossers who watch the lottery shows will be hooked, ditto an aesthete wastrel such as myself. my super-super-best-best ever favourite colour is green!!!!!!!!!!

sad to see the old gamesnet release gone for obvious reasons, but the new offering seems to be a relatively playable menu.

i never liked bookworm even if there was free money. it is a speed game masquerading as a word game. no joy in that.

something which is really sad is my inability to spell bejjeweled :o ops:

anyway, never mind that, my fave fave favest colour is orange

you will be pleased to hear that my favourite colour is lellow!!! again.

it occurs to me that the question bank in this game is very much more entertaining than other sets out there. is it completely new?
also, i only played the gamesnet version a couple of times, is the paragon release a revamped game?

the endgame feels like a swizz, but the questions; a fundamental part of any quiz game offer very good value with a deal of wit and interestingness.
i wouldn't be surprised if this performs well for GWHL, furthermore, i wouldn't be surprised if it offers decent prizes further down the line.
also it introduces a very different skill/strategy of risk-aversion which really comes in to play in the endgame (assuming it is as random as DOND), your average joe in the boozer may be reluctant to collect anything other than the top prizes while sensible accrual might be a better option.
can anyone be bothered to work out optimal statistics?
