Bejeweled 2
Bejeweled 2
I seems that this game is everywhere and now appearing on cabinets, as anyone played this yet? not the pro players thing perhaps but it is fun to play and looks as though it one of those that will reward when its ready.
Re: Bejeweled 2
It's not widespread in London yet - I've seen it on one cabinet (an unusually updated central London Gamesnet) but didn't play it - not my kind of thing.kingzilla wrote:I seems that this game is everywhere and now appearing on cabinets, as anyone played this yet? not the pro players thing perhaps but it is fun to play and looks as though it one of those that will reward when its ready.

Interesting - played this game literally since it came out (on PC) whilst 'enduring' a lunch break at work or just generally bored. How does it ascertain what you 'win'? Point target / set amount of jewels? I know how this can easily 'fix' gameplay by the distribution routines it utilises when populating the grid at startup and after each match...

judging by how many of my loser friends are playing this on facebook *, there is certainly an audience, but how they set the payout percentage is problematic. i fear the last hurrah will be rigged and, regardless of how excellently the player plays, ultimately the counting software will decide when it is time to pay out. but i haven't seen it in the wild so can't comment.

nobody ever wins on those things.

Oit!how many of my loser friends

Farmville: I simply will not get invovled with this...! I was enquiring as to where a friend of mine was t'other evening - we were supposed to be going for a couple of beers. He was late because he 'had to plough his fields'. First thought was that as he had a new girlfriend, it may have been something to do with her, but then I saw his 'Farmville' status... <groan!>

Played this on £1 stake in a few sites now - having played this game relentlessly on my phone recently when bored waiting for machines/sitting in traffic.
Was pleasantly surprised to see it be at Level 3 for £2 when this is very, very easy to achieve on my phone - but much less pleasant to see this is actually hard to achieve on said quiz machines because the timer goes too fast (and doesn't go up after successful combos).
I would also think that the computer will be smart enough to have losing tiles programmed into it when the machine is not up for paying.
Overall, one to keep a watching brief on for the moment IMO.

Bored of the grind.

You need to embrace it Matt

Seriously though, it takes plenty of dedication to build up a farm

Anybody want to buy it?? I take a 1p box with no repeat for it :P

QM: Naturally, but it'll get the occaisional 50pee now and then for a bit of a laff. Any of these games that are 'replica' versions of 'computer games' will NEVER be identical.
-Faster time
-More things against the player
-Optimised 'AI'
-Other rubbish (lol)
