Both myself & a friend have found a large number of units not paying out even small amounts of money just the money put into it as credits (by any means edition).
latest incident -put £5 in won £21 paid out £5. Engineer called out.Came back to pub got money, asked publican what was the problem---told engineer said not a single pound coin in the machine hmmmm.
wonder what game or how the machine is being scammed?
Sounds interesting Cool - I've not heard anything on this, but from what you say it does sound distinctly like someone is "doing" something on your local Paragons, whether by fair means or foul. (Good work on the £21 for £5 ratio, by the way - a good achievement at the moment, methinks.)
That's good advice but some boxes don't even hold enough to pay out one Jackpot (legitimately acquired) so your marked coins won't help you then.
I don't mean Paragons by this, but then the chance of winning a serious Jackpot (£3/£6 on Beat the Landlord doesn't count - we had £10 JPs more than 20 years ago!!) on anything on those is pretty remote so it may apply to them as well.
did you happen to notice if it was all the same cabinet that were empty or if it didnt matter. as this should help with if it was a tool or a game that emptying it.
it has happened more to my friend than me and he said it happened primarily on the latest edition----Ill have to ask him if it happened on the same cabinet design rather than games line up.
Yeah when the engineer comes out ask him to check the last win screen shows every win and every game played for the last month.. you can see where all the wins have come from
