VB & EWQ vs Milton Keynes, highlights (full scores on website):

1971, 1988, 1991, 2020, 2054, 2097, 2124, 2133
Embezzling 400, 4xQuizzical 423, 3xZillionaires 432, Quintessential 476, 2xTranquillised 481, Quizzicality 660

Boggle: 1510, 1540

Also found a couple of 1800s and good Text Tiles scores from "Ben", who has been spotted in Southend and Stevenage among other places. Squashed him in MK though.

milton keynes didn't stand a chance.

some of SZÓJÁTÉK's latest hits:

:d: nanobyte, soho: 1409 (39) (n.b. Ernest, for the purposes of the website i'm called PERFECTION for 39s)
:d: black horse, mayfair: 1846, EXPEDITIONS
:d: waxy's little sister, chinatown: 1853
:d: leicester arms, piccadilly circus: COMBINATIONS, Y~ ~ELLOWTAIL (only G~ to go now which i should get on my next foray (maybe at ATEI).
:d: mad bishop & bear paddington: 1845, VIVISECTING, EXCOMMUNICATES and the beautiful CHROMOSOMAL. that word is poetry. attached pic of the table in there (pity about the Q~ word but the rest is satisfying). i'm not sure if DAVID is me or not but HIPS is me + the distraction of an old uni friend called Emma.

spotted at ATEI: big money word up.

i didn't have the time to play it enough to work out how (if at all) gameplay has changed. but i cracked in a mediocre clearance and there was no second board (good) and no sound/animation/fanfare marking the clearance (bad).
it costs £1 a game and the cabinet's screen is as ridiculous as it looks on the other thread. normal game of WU surmounted by the same size again of state of play (the bit which is currently under the in-game board).
at ATEI the prize structure was hard to ascertain, £1 was at 1500 and i didn't see beyond that.
it is likely that this aspect of BMWU is work in progress, it was far from widespread at the show so it seems likely that it is in early development and/or it is a toe in the water.

Some website entries from today -

1854 by MOOOOOOOOO in the Ark (no idea who the player(s) is/are).

QUIZZICAL, ZILLIONAIRES and EXPLOITATION (360/12), all as ANGIE LIAM, all in the Ark.

Also got EXOTICISMS which was pleasing, albeit only 250/10.

Not had any chartworthy words since Christmas, but was in the background while an interview with the landlord was being filmed in The Fareham earlier this week - conceivably I may be able to claim the first televised clearance ...

Blimey - no, pretty sure it's not one of us.

Any scores above 2000 or 2100?

Looks like Thunderbobs Are Go to take the sucker down.

I picked it up very soon after you set it down, you fudgebangle - scan through the last few posts here.

I thought you wimped out - and now my next two weekends are booked up :(

PS Harlow is the grimmest place I've ever been, usurping Slough.

PPS Just noticed your reply to my reply - am not too keen on weekdays, as teaching leaves me pretty spent. Half-term is coming up, tho...
