If you select the Quiz Machines Forum (via Forum --> Other Betting --> Quiz Machines near the top of the page) then you should see a big blue button with "+ Post New Thread" on it between the forum heading and the list of threads.

I only ever view Fruitchat via a PC/laptop however so if you are using one of those new-fangled 'Eye Phone' things that I keep hearing about on the wireless then the pages might look different; in which case we'll need a higher level of boffin than me to explain... :-)

I thought it germane to bump this thread. Seeing as it was originally posted during a particularly remunerative period.

And I'll just say, having re-read it, and as I was originally intending to at the time but never got round to.

I don't give a fuck what most employers think.

Are we right to assume that by not giving a fuck, you have

1) enough money not to require paid employment to have the lifestyle you desire
2) enough guts and nouse for your own business, to be your own boss
3) as long as there's a quiz machine plugged in somewhere, then that's your wage sorted
4) all of the above
5) not really any of those
6) some of those but not others
7) others of those but not some

You seem to be avoiding the main point NS and myself are saying which is that there's less and less pubs with a machine in. That's the bottom line.
A few years ago round here a village might have 1 or 2, a town 6 or 7 and a city 20 odd.
Now it's more likely the village will have none, a town 1 or 2 and the cities 9 or 10. That's a massive difference.

No it's not. The bottom line is how much money you're making. End of. And you seriously live in a city with 9 or 10 machines? Where? Wells? :o

I never said I was in a city.
I'm in the north.
Name me one city centre up here with more than 10 Paragons then - say anywhere from Manchester/Leeds up to Edinburgh - there isn't one

How's York these days? Not been for a while, but if that's no longer in double figures for Paragons, things really have got bad.

Cp999 certainly seems to be trying to vent some frustrations. Perhaps hes been chasing paragons around so long hes started developing tourettes like ticks and a compulsive drug habit. Might explain some things
