VBOBs sister
I forgot to mention this at the time, but when I was in Oxford, not only did VAJINALBOB appear on WU scoreboards but also, on at least one board, did JEMIMABOB (in the bar beside Trinity college IIRC). So does VBOB have a sister? Do any of the VBOB regulars know if this is a legitimate spin-off or an infringement of copyright...or just a complete coincidence?

had an n/c 1628 yesterday inc two PIZZERIASes, i was left with IVOL in an L shape, shuffled it but VIOL wasn't on. by my arithmetic that would have been the fourth best score ever. as it is it didn't even make the local top score board.
consoled myself with a workmanlike one shot one kill: 1860 at the comedy near piccadilly. got £8 for that which is a rarity.

was househunting in shepherds bush (decided against it in the end)
and noticed Bob had sent a landing party. i got both the common 13s at belushi's but nothing to crow abaout, however at the o'neills "PETER" was proudly atop the high words with another old chestnut: QUIZZICALLY, a new Bobber? surely not an isolated maven who apparently has only played WU once?

Yeah - we knocked them off the second machine in Via Fossa but didn't really have much of a go at deposing them on the first one. Would have probably needed to sit down with a mind to playing for a while to do that, but didn't have time as we wanted to get in as many places as possible (Via Fossa was our first stop). Similarly, WORDUP remained top at Fellows Morton & Clayton as we had to run off to catch our train home.ZAX wrote:Bob, Fotherz etc

anyone who is reading this knows that Word Up is the best game in the world, we could get it sanctioned by twin galaxies (an organisation which tracks record scores on other types of skill video game (pacman etc) and provides guinness book of records etc with stats). it is possible that it could bring other players out of the shadows such as the Nottingham enigma. i have made tentative enquiries and they seem okay about acknowledging WU. or would you prefer to keep the exclusivity of it.
any thoughts?
