Q4G is disappearing too and there seems to be three or four versions of another game i like.
but Paragon still has profitable games which are played by joe schmo, crap like PO8 where you can win if you can be bothered and enjoyable games such as Word so Up.

imo it is much more playable than other terminals.
nobody ever wins on those things.

Do you really believe this is the case? Work out the games that are being removed, manually and just as quickly as possible. These boxes have been emptied!! :D

I was well aware of the empties (its common knowledge now, even Northampton lads have it, so I'm not going to beat around the bush...)

The machine removes them itself after it has been done.

I'm not going into the finer details, but one of the games could remain due to a totally different kind of fault. But in my opinion, it is a very solid quizzer. If I was going to site quiz machines (in fact, I was !) then I would site Paragons without question.

So as I said, it is well protected.

There is a huge difference between PROTECTED and TESTED btw.

If any of the fruit / quiz companies actually TESTED their games and hardware, they wouldnt need to worry about PROTECTING them (as such).

Prevention not cure?
Bollocks to all you idiots!

used to happen years ago on the four leafs.I agree with it as it prevents the one trick ponies from emptying the machine.
As Ive always said a player who wins £20 each from 5 different games on an Open say should not be barred by a publican in my opinion---one who takes 5 jackpots in succession from the same game should. Its not the same thing , although of course the amount is.The arguement well it let me do it isnt sufficient.Being adept at just a couple of games smacks of mental laziness.

Perhaps Dave would like to illuminate the forum with his thoughts on this!

Hi

I have never come across this situation to be honest.

Perhaps the OPEN'S are reasonably well set up against this scenario?

Or maybe I just have no professional players in my neck of the woods?

If I found that one game was constantly paying jackpot (ie if there was a cheat available) then I would just remove it from the games menu - I can do this in the set up screen.

I don't think I would ever bar anybody for playing on the machine either quiz or fruity - after all I am inviting them to play.

As highlighted by Cool (non-payout scandal) Open's do appear to be well protected, just in a totally illegal manner!!
