maybe they have taken it off to reconfigure the national high score table so that it works.
let's all get back to answering questions, that is the only kind of skill which can be tempered. but i'd be interested to hear an inside story; i'd be surprised if anyone was quick enough at 4lw wordsearch, tough STD or 12+ TVT. mind you, i've been surprised before.
today i stumbled upon a town where nobody has done scrabble and it was universal on the menu (typically <60 for the original easy endgame). not a paragon to be seen but there was decent free money for joyless stabbing. personally i'd prefer to win 75% less and actually enjoy what i'm doing. meh, take the money and stop grumbling i suppose.
but puzzler is (was) a much better game than the afterbirth of scrabble.

nobody ever wins on those things.
Like Isty, I have no inside knowledge here and would welcome any explanations!
Certainly no evidence of Puzzler being played particularly well on the (geographically limited) ItBoxes I've seen since Puzzler came out. Having said that, thinking of a similar-ish skill-tester such as Who's Got The Biggest Brain on Facebook, it is clear that there exists a sizeable group of people willing and able to put the work in and get absolutely phenomenal on skill games of this type - so I'd not be at all surprised if someone had managed to cane Puzzler. Anyway, anyone willing to tell this story will be the subject of my gratitude.
