now there's a poisoned chalice to pick up. well it is disappointing but it is not hard to understand why it has gone. like anything, once you are good at it, it becomes easy although the bar was set too low for this one. a gay baby dwarf could have hopped over it on crutches. there were only about 100 surveys which is far, far too easy; make it 1000 and it should become 10x harder.

the game had a fairly nasty pseudoskill element but i'd like to see it return with a bit more of a challenge, potentially it could offer a sense of worth over and above any prize consideration. maybe not regenerating the extra lives would be a way to separate the wheat from the chaff?

having said that, it was fair; good for a player but it is probably another nail in the coffin of twitbox, especially when people realised they could take the piss.

Has it? I certainly haven't seen it disappearing from the ItBox 66s I see. However I do pay less and less attention to ItBox 66s - it's hard to remember a more calamitous drop off in game selection than those things have undergone in just one version number. I've said it before, and might say it again (but equally might pop up on here less and less) - if the current state of the three market leaders (those, Paragons and Gamesnets) is anything to go by, the game is well and truly up for anyone who plays SWPs for anything more than beer money.

10/10 for the observation.
