in which case i'm "severely limiting my options". but where i'm based, there is a considerable transient population. equally, a number of pubs with SWPs are on my doorstep but i never go in; if they can't serve a decent pint i'm not interested.

however, on occasional awaydays i have made a killing.
last year my dear old ma took part in an art exhibition in one of the national trust properties. the good people of the thicko arms paid for an original watercolour for my wall. it is a beautiful composition of a yew in autumn.
nobody ever wins on those things.

Tell me about it - work and evening commitments generally mean I'm restricted to playing in this fashion, and I completely agree with Nil Satis' remarks. When I am able to get away to a new area, results are generally very much better.
