On the football game with "Pele's Top 100"
_ _ _ _ _ Y _ _
It was
D A S S A Y E V, a USSR goalkeeper.
Not entirely a bug, but I expected it to be Disayev, or Dasaev.
I deplore spelling variations with people's names.
Here's a link to Pele's top 100 (or 125), and yes, I've got it on paper ready to pull out for the next stinker!

I just hope it's Dalglish and not Dalgleish when that one comes along. I really wouldn't be surprised :x

Which of these comedians is known as a 'Brummie' comic
a. Frank Skinner b. Peter Kay c. Billy Connolly d. Jasper Carrott
Went Jasper Carrott on nothing more than the thought that hes a brummie, hes a comic, and he's a 'famous' Birmingham City fan.
Game Over.

Apologies if already posted......
Today I got the always classic:
Which of these is a fruit?
Orange
Tomato
A vegetable (cant remember what).
I picked orange because I had decided it was 110% a fruit (I know a tomato is too but orange is blatant) only to be given incorrect.
Do one Edmunds. You were crap in the 90's, you werent acceptable in the 80's and you're beginning to piss me off in the 2000's.

Yes, but the beardy one was referring to orange the colour here not the fruitToday I got the always classic:

So the answer was tomato unless the unspecified vegetable was also tomato in which case you have a 50/50 pop.
Good Luck

Two dodgy questions today:-
Firstly:- Which of these is an English river? Having spent a large amount of time in Cumbria, I instictively went for the River Kent (a substantial waterway in Kendal) rather than the more obvious answer- Trent. Think that was DOND
Secondly:- In which film did Spielberg direct Richard Dreyfuss for the second time? Correct answer Close encounters of the 3rd time

I've noted that one before as well - very rubbish of the question-setter.the hornby wrote: Firstly:- Which of these is an English river? Dunno if its just me but TETRIS quiz keeps on throwing up a few lately eg
Which of these cities is closest to Arthurs Seat?
A. Dundee b. Edinburgh c. Glasgow.
The answer it wanted was Dundee, which I can only presume means they are talking about a guy called Arthur, who lives near Dundee, and who has a seat, and not Arthurs Seat.
Soon after I got:-
Which of these artists was number 1 on June 16?
Bit unfair that, particularly with four choices to go at, but one mighty guess later (Black Legend) and on to the next cocked up Q
