Why don't you take a leaf out of Cool's book, and phone Fatspanner up?
Oh, I'm so scared.

Quiz machines are played a lot more by the general populace in the Winter, although Dave's experience is incredible.

Hi

Just a quick update .............

I have been laid up for the past week in my sick bed - luckily I can check tills / stock / fruities / quizzer all online.

The hotwire machine was telling me it had only taken £1 last week - Fat Spanner telephoned me to say they had a problem with the hotwire server and they had rebooted it and to check figures again.

Which I have just done and lo and behold it hadn't taken a £1 it had taken a lot more - still not upto the dizzy heights of a few years ago when I had the first machine installed - but very good for todays climate.

It was a better than average week.

So once again a massive thankyou to FatSpanner for supporting little old me who is not a large operator and giving me first class customer service and ongoing support.

I still think we need official Monopolys / Deal No Deals / Cluedos etc..........but I guess thats a liscence thing.

OPEN THE BOX - BIRTHDAY EDITION
Had a look at this at the weekend. You are first asked to provide your date of birth (or any date of birth) for no discernible reason. The typical game then involves having 20-odd boxes to open via 8 or 9 True or False questions for one chance to 'win' around 80p - there usually being only one prize offered that is above the 50p stake.

The real reason for the game's title is presumably that they could only have decided to release this utter drivel as a special birthday treat for whoever designed it.
