Have jackpotted the 50p version (had 8[!] picks in the final round). I'd like to see the inverse question asked, namely "what's the least anyone has won".. pretty sure I had a 40p "win" on the £1 game a while back.
I've had 20p! Two 10ps. Had £38 the other day on two picks. Made my night!
When you say jackpotted what amount was that exactly? Do you get all the different amounts?
I would be interested to hear if anyone has managed to JP both the 50p and the £1 games on the same machine at the same sitting! I've not managed this, but have come reasonably close.
There's very little money left in these anywhere reasonably beaten-track in London now, sadly!
I've had a fair few occasions where the 50p game has been giving money away and the £1 game very poor. I suspect that's due to almost no play on the £1 game. I wouldn't trust this as a main earner though - much more reliable beasts out there.
[quote="dmac"]i always play the 50p game first and have had a lot of £20+s
Not had much joy from the £1 game to be honest.
70p is my worst (or at least it felt worst)]
Money in both games at all venues although I think a big prize on one will tighten the other. However, the game is not difficult and I suspect a lot of the opening money has gone - either from Joe Public players who've managed to achieve e.g. a 2600 target and made a lucky pick, or from better players who are going round doing each machine. That's certainly my experience in central London. I agree with CP, that I don't think has the longevity to be a "main earner" - but for dilletantes like me it's been a good one-off cash boost.
The £50 JP is certainly possible and in fact I know of two cases (one by myself and one by an acquaintance) of the picks adding up to MORE than £50, in which case you "only" win £50, in a spooky echo of the Pub Quiz Maximum Payout thread...
Got my first £50 on this last night and then played the 50p version which yielded another £4 first go- targte was quite low and didnt appear to be protecting itself. Would like to have pushed to see if it would have put up a bigger win on the 50p had I refused the £4 but it was kicking out time.
