It is with great regret that I must report the passing of a great friend of mine, the original stand alone £1 Millionaire. I visited him often for many years and he was always very kind to me when I saw him, right up to the end when he finally succumbed to a fatal case of monitorus fornicatus.
To mark this sad occassion, I will be conducting a short memorial service this weekend at his final resting place. I know that he had many siblings, but alas they all moved away. I am trying to track down any surviving close relatives to inform them of the service, so if you know of any locations of them, then please let me know as soon as possible.

He was indeed a fine upstanding gentleman; generous to a fault. On a related note, I must mention the recent demise of two of his close relatives: the 2-player millionaire, who will be sorely missed, and the £1 for 3 plays £15 jackpot millionaire. I think I also do not have any locations for siblings.
I must say I'm impressed that you chaps have managed to stay in touch with the family over the years like this. I knew them somewhat at one stage, mainly through their well-known brother 50p/£20JP WWTBAM, but had long since fallen out of touch. That said, I did bump into a sibling of £1/£40 WWTBAM up north last year. It was only a brief, and for me at least an unsatisfying, meeting - £1 WWTBAM was in a hurry and didn't allow me the time to get my thoughts in order - but I've passed on the details by PM to David Healy should he wish to get in touch.
