I don't think this has been changed recently. For those with ability, of which there were very few, it always pulled that £1 stunt, even on the original spoiler heavy version.

It's not the first game that has done this.

I'm not sure if it's an indication that people are taking multiple wins. More likely that the punters don't play it any more. I can't remember the last time I saw anybody playing this game on my travels.

Money doesn't go in, eventually it will stop coming out, to paraphrase a fellow compadre.
Stupid punters. Telly all the week, screw the wife Saturday

Flying in the face of all that's been said on this thread, (and my own recent experiences), I found a 'raving' full X Factor smack bang in the middle of Birmingham city centre yesterday. I know it to be a site I have previously had a jackpot from.

Change of machine, addicted punters in this particular pub? Whatever, a pleasant surprise! :D

Fair enough, I would certainly bow to QM's superior knowledge on this.

Saw a Caveman Capers on £1 mode over the weekend. It was in what I think is probably the most forbidding SWP in London - the Ind:e in the Isambard on the main concourse of Paddington station. I noticed our old friends Hyena and Suri had visited: wouldn't be surprised if both had JPed it given the state it was in. I binned the game after two hits: one of those was enough to top the scoreboard though, which is odd given my mediocrity at the hand-eye aspects of the game! The whole machine looked pretty spent actually; I've played here three times and have lost cash on every occasion.
