They changed The Drinking Game!

Cant believe it! Not as funny now. Its not as if the old version was really bad was it? At the end of the day these machines are in pubs not primary schools.

Personally I couldn't care less whether a game is funny or not if it pays me decent wins on a regular basis.

Slightly more serious response - games that are designed to be entertaining but don't give good players any reliable chance of winning decent prizes are the bane of my life, or at least the small part of it I devote to playing quiz machines. There has been a trend in the last year or two towards machines offering more and more of this type of game, which reached its current nadir in "Toss the Monkey" - puerile gags that a 13 year old boy would have frowned upon combined with a ridiculous pseudo-skill component making it comfortably among the top 10 worst games I have ever seen.

On 'Toss the Monkey', I've often wondered whether anyone has bothered to put the time in to learn the skill component, and what the cash results were. I presume there must be some cash in it, so presumably anyone who bothered to learn how to toss (as it were) would be in a good position.

I had my first ever go on this the other day and despite being absolutely gobsmacked as to how sh*t it was I put a couple of quid through it. Despite being someone who normally sets a high standard on the hand eye aspects of games I quickly established that I was never going to master it and would be surprised if anyone else has either.

what??? toss the monkey is absolutely piss easy, hit it on 45 degrees, then on the last swing in the middle for 150-155.... bearing in mind the money is 99% of the time on 400-600 for £1, its an easy £1....

however anything over £1 is 1300+ so would be very hard unless ur good at questions lol.
