To answer my earlier question, a quick search on Nominet reveals that the domain fruitchat.co.uk is registered to one Michael Woods. A Google search of him suggests he is the man behind Software Illusions (http://www.software-illusions.com/) who appear to be a fruitie manufacturer.

I myself am unfussed: I'm in Nil Satis' boat really that any success I do have on machines is due to reasonable general knowledge and a fair amount of time spent playing machines. I tend only to find out about "secrets" when or very shortly before they're posted on here (e.g. the TOTP bug, which I only found out about a few days before it went public on here). The only useful info I might have is if I realise that a game is a "payer" before other good players - but to be honest, if that is obvious to me, it'll be obvious to anyone good.

Mike is username=admin. never met him but seems a nice guy through PMs and whatnot. when this site was started, a beardless, callow youth came on and suggested a quiz forum to go alongside the fruits. Mike listened to him and we are now here.
before fruitchat there was a noticeboard type website advertising viagra and the occasional moan about hangman v1.0.

good sleuthing Grecian but you could have got software illusions from the bottom of any page on fruitchat

maybe Mike does have some fruit machine tendencies but this looks to me like the paranoia we have mentioned in this thread.

Fair enough Istenem - if you know of Mike and think him to be a good chap, that's plenty good enough for me and I've deleted the more paranoid elements of my above post!

Didn't know you were the fons et origo of the Quiz Machines section Istenem - good work.
