Nuts

Post by ROSSKEEN »

Anyone having any luck with it?

Its becoming my favourite game at the moment in terms of profit.

Covers for cash about 98% of the time and whilst this doesnt guarantee a win, the questions aren't massively difficult. (Except the true / false trivia - but they're learnable).

I've kind of stopped playing it on the ItBox (is it still on the ItBox?) but did stumble across it on a Paragon yesterday and managed to get three covers for £5. I had two lives left to get me across the third main game but decided to collect, which was a bit gutless. It's an enjoyable and well-presented game if one can get over the embarrassment factor - but for me the chance of prizes north of about £2 is too low to make it one I regularly play.

Yeah it has mileage this one, like you say you can get to the end nearly every time.....it just stitches you up there if its doesn't want to pay. Had a few fivers from this though, and the only annoying rounds are pub ammo sometimes, as you just don't know if its true or not!

I find it one of the more enjoyable games even if cash isnt one and it isnt that difficult for example:

Nuts top ten: Usually 5 answers are blatantly obvious.
Picture puzzle: nasty sometimes but easy more often than not.
Pub ammo: nasty - but some genuinely good facts to learn.

Sport world, showbiz, etc - just depends what mood its in but my in my local the nuts 'help' appears very often.

And as much as I hate to admit it, it's one of my mum's favourites if we're ever out for a family meal.....

Hhmmn, I am undecided about Nuts, but I do like to have a dabble every now and then. Managed to win £5 on the first Covers for Cash, with 1 magazine cover and decided to take that the other evening. Most other ventures end up in a maximum £2 win.

It's more of a game I try, when looking to vary my gameplay.

Just had a dabble at lunch.

3 games.

1st game - 1 cover for £3
2nd game - 1 cover for £1 (wimped out)
3rd game - 3 covers - £1 £1 £3.

So £9 back for £1.50. Paid the beers.

Nuts is the best game on itbox in my opinion, haven't seen it on Paragon yet, but will try and search one out.

The picture rounds are always the killer for me, trying to match 3 identical white areas some times comes up = no chance of winning any money from it.

If I can get to cover 4 cash then can normally get £2.
