Schoolboy quizzer question

Is the %age on quiz machines worked out by the unit on a whole or by the individual games? Say the payout is 30%, and Pub Quiz and Hot Property have been muntered down to 5% current payout. If a pay is due and I picked Pub Quiz and won on it, would Hot Property still be willing to cough up or would that be my lot?

all games have discrete banks but share the same hopper.
