Yesterday was my silver wedding anniversary. It was 25 years to the day since a saucy little number winked at me across a crowded pub. She's changed a lot over the years but we've had some great times together. It's not been all roses round the door and sometimes she's played very hard to get but the path of true love never did run smooth....

More makeovers than Doctor Who but when you get below that glitzy exterior there beats a heart of cupro nickel.

I preferred her when she was younger - she was a lot more accommodating even though she'd do it with any old Tom, Dick or Harry2.

She sure has tightened up over the years, but to the more dedicated of us, there's still a good tune to be played on the old fiddle.
