fool a hoops

Post by cool »

page23 Sun May 26
Hundreds of tourists were duped by a rigged hoopla stall.Forensic experts found the chances of winning were 2,622 to one.

Odds that are considerably better than for many of the games on the Games Warehouse line-up.When are they or rather the dodgy programmers be brought to account? Its odd that we have never had a response from a specific game developer or rather its not as you cannot defend the indefensible.
How about a poll for the most rigged games with nominations?

Not a sausage - for me that's a shoo-in for the worst game of all time.

I've only ever won £12 (one £10, one £2) on that itBox one where you have to get 0,5,10,15 or 20/20 to get a prize - and the £10 was on a box where I'd "invested" about £20 to see whether the game had potential. So that one strikes me as pretty tight.

I'd say Family Guy is a pretty stinky old title - I've had one decent prize on about 30 or 40 tries on that, and a couple of small prizes - overall a very poor return though. And Rocket Money has paid me only a couple of decent prizes, in probably about 60 or 70 goes, although it's quite easy to fluke a £1 on that.

And on the Opens, Talksport Quiz looks like an absolute stinker - I've maybe played that about 10 times, and never won a bean.

I suspect if I thought about it a bit longer, I'd come up with a fair few where I've hardly won a thing. Surely these games can't be paying out at 30%?

funny you should bring the conversation around to percentages.I am not the friendliest of people when approached whilst playing , particularly when approached by another pro(rare these days).Last week approached by a ave punter who wasnt your ave thick as a prick twat that you often run into in pubs.I talked about how I got into it and some basic hints to help him improve his returns for his casual playing.
He told me that in the actual week before he saw somebody (engineer or collector) bring up the display on the paragon showing hiatory input over £24,000 output £600.I have no reason to disbelieve him.

perhaps the output figure refers to only coins which have exited the mechanism. as we know, very few people collect. on the other hand, if he was just one zero out the figure would be about right once you have factored in megatouch.

2.5% payout? I suppose it depends on how you look at it. I see punter upon punter playing these in the thicko arms - so much so that I wouldn't get a go on one anyway - how much do they often win?

I'd hazard that machine in particular was never played by a pro of any kind.

Is this where the definition between AWP and SWP becomes clear? On an AWP machine, any old skloid could fluke a £70 or £140, but how often can he 'fluke skill'?
