It's fair to win from, and is pretty enjoyable to play compared to most things. I like it muchly too, had an £11 win last week from an £8 case and £3 main game!

yeh I had the easy questions bonus but it quickly went on round 5, which was the £2 round!!! Didn't even get to a cash round before it took it!

Even sicker was the fact some mug that I was sharking next door got £70 off 10 cash strikes on alien by some mad fluke :(

Enjoying my habitual good fortune when playing with the wife, I managed £20 off one game of By Any Means last night - we had an extra bonuses thing from the previous game, managed to avoid spoiler questions all the way through, got a £10 on the suitcases about half way through, and then never lost enough bonuses to make collecting advisable. I feared final round might end up in a "Zeno's Paradox" situation, but in fact all the needed miles were offered on the first set, provided we answered four science questions, which we did. I presume £30 is the maximum from one game, but £20 certainly pleased me.

£10 from the box last night.

This game is becoming a favourite.

[quote="Istenem"]on the suitcase/bonus suspects i've only had three so far: £8, £6 and £10 but i look forward to a derisory offer of 6p or whatever]

Had a 10p case this evening. I didn't smile.

Ditto 20p. But £4 in the main game made me quite forgiving...

I got to 190 odd last night (very much a one off). Once you go past about 130/140 it seems to stop putting obstacles out (thanks to whoever it was who posted the 'one finger' tip on this).

I think a good idea would be for high score tables for each game. I think the train game does cheat (i.e. vary the available max) and I'm unconvinced about the fairness of the bike game. The boat and balloon do seem to play fair though.

If anyone is interested, my best are as follows, I think:

Train 35ish
Boat 190+
Balloon 90ish
Bike 600+ (although I struggle to consistently get a good second bounce, hence I think it's rigged)

Very impressive - all four of my PBs are well below those, although to be fair I'm not the best at dexterity tests.

How the feck does that balloon thing work? Don't have any problems with the other modes of transport but aside from ignoring the first refill and going for the second one, usually just getting 30ish, I'm screwed. Am I a donkey?! :P
