A fair amount of the posts on this forum are made by industry people, so it is fairly obvious that a watching brief is being maintained. Let's be honest, how many times have they been rewarded with a real gem of information that saves them money?
The games that working pros are using to generate income have been rarely, if at all, mentioned in open debate. Word Up/Soup is not a threat to the SWP industry!! :D

how about a decathlon?

each player must compete in a number of SWP disciplines with points given for performance and accrued towards a final total; one go at each game, no mulligans.
for these purposes, any endgame where prizes are determined is disregarded. most of the games i've suggested have potentially infinite scoring possibilities which can be inter-measured reasonably satisfactorily.

five track events, five field events with a mixture of applicable skills. in the event of a tie we can do chessboxing to find a winner.

i'll get a trophy made right away, and if nobody is up for the challenge i will scrawl ISTENEM all over it.
nobody ever wins on those things.
