don't play online roulette when pissed!!!

Post by ob »

ok I've been here before but just a warning, so easy to get involved for big money after having a few beers... thankfully got away with it this time... for you roulette fans the £125 bet was covering 0 32 26 3 and 15 with £25 on each, 26 came up for the £900 return....(hmm is £125 really low stakes skybet?!?! :P ), for about £100 profit overall.

oh and for all you people that are cynical about online roulette and say it's rigged... this proves you wrong aswell surely :P

it ISNT rigged, but it is a computer program, so the odds/random will not be correct... and this time you were very very very lucky.

next time take ya money to a casino... with 800 you should hit a few numbers and have way more fun than sweating looking at a tv screen.

people have been trying to beat roulette since nearly pre-historic times, and the only mathamaticly sound system involves an unlimited bankroll and the removal of the 0 from the table...

to load 800quid onto an online casino.... you need help...

Roulette has only been around about 300 years
As another New Year's Resolution and to save a few quid, I've just self excluded from Ladbrokes, Sky,Bet365,VC Bet and Paddy Power.
Come on you Royals

I had my own little brain fart on the poker whilst under the influence of alcohol and windy caution throwing.

I was playing a £20 heads up stt.
Slow opponent.
Hilliam Will offer these lottery widgets.
All in each hand, no skill a pure flip.
Start off with a $5, L L L L L L L L LLLLLLLLLL

Started Martingdaling it then.

Soon playing $50 (max lottery) heads ups......'due' a win. Lol. Don't start.
The logic of the gambler.
Did £250 in minutes.
Spent the next day winning back £350 by skill.
Not as dramatic as Ob, but just as foolhardy.

lol thats the best way I suppose, no chance to do your money then!! Although in all honesty I'm still well up on online roulette, don't want to push my luck too much... after all I must be the person who has played rainbow riches the most on earth without a single jackpot, where most people seem to get it on their first play!!! Addmitedly have long since given up on the machine having been so dissillusioned with it years past...

I don't believe roulette machines are rigged in any way, because they don't need to be. Several times i've sat in front of one in a bookies, and lost say...£4-500. Then i've thought to myself; why the fuck didn't I got to the casino, get a hotel room, play the £30 freeze out and then have a gamble, thus making a night of it? Instead of sitting there like a zombie, with the local dregs of humanity looking over my shoulder telling me i'd lost before the ball had even landed.......

Has anyone noticed that in the casino if you have an even money bet and 0 comes in the bet is halved, but in the bookies you lose the whole bet!

Filth. :?

Undoubtedly IMHO.

Dont play these when your sober let alone pissed. Only fools play them. I was a very big fool :-(

Dont believe they are rigged? Try this. Take a walk around your nearest biggish town centre - maybe 5 bookies with FOBT's? Walk into each one in turn and put 20 on red (or black). Just one bet. Then move onto the next. Do another circuit. You will either lose 10/10 or if your lucky 9/10. Try it? On average you would expect to lose 4,5 or 6/10? No friggin chance. I've done it loads of times as an experiment. I can only conclude that these machines are programmed not to pay out on the 1st bet - at least at the 20 quid level.

Paranoid? Maybe. But try it if you dare :-)

I don't think the latest roulette games are rigged.
I've seen big money bets (£100 on evens) come in and big singles come in. No reason to suspect any rigging.
Obviously you're at a disadvantage, these are a pure gamble.

I did this a long time back on every one, doing your £20 on red, Id say it came up about 50% of the time - sorry to prove your theory wrong :P

but people have lucky numbers. very occasionally i will play roulette and my lucky number is 52. not on the wheel so i play true evens and keep my money next to the thigh.
nobody ever wins on those things.

:P I doubt if anyone elses lucky number is 52. Plenty of times I've put £10 straight up on a number and it's come in first spin. Probably close to 1 in 37 times.
Roulette free since December 2011.
