Just a lucky night that Ive just remembered
About 15 years ago my wife and I were The Mint casino in London and had suffered a terrible night :(

I was down to my last fiver and needed some cigs
The girl used to come round with a tray and they were £4 per pack
It would be normal to give her the fiver and leave it at that, but because I was so broke I took the £1 change
We happened to be stood next to a roulette table during this and all of a sudden I thought bollocks to it and put the quid on 20
Well of course it came in!
We carried on playing and ended up going home with close on £800

Anyone else had a lucky last chance win ?

I think it has happened to most of us that have played them in the past, one of the reasons that these things can become so addictive to many people.

Usually nowadays I try £3 in the roulette machine, a spread of 20ps and 25ps depending on which bookies..

Today hit a 20p, miracle.. £7.20, so put £1 on black, and 20p on zero, and then zero comes in..

On the wheel it looked like it was going well beyond zero, but a sudden stop.. Tend to beleive these this are rigged to make you lose, but also rigged to make you win!

Weren't a lucky last chance win but still a win all the same. Was up the casino tonight after a bad day on the slots. Mainly due to a redding SnL's that played up and a local clubber that took the piss, which hasn't been as reliable as it once was!
Anyway had £210 on me and put it in a machine linked to the live roulette wheel. I prefer doing this as you get your own privacy and don't have to force your way to the table to place your bet!
Anyway sitting there with 440 credits winning a bit, then losing a bit, just taking it easy really and hovering around the 400 chip mark (£200). I witness about 9 High(ish) numbers on the bounce and decide to make a move. Picked up the 5 chip and just dabbed anywhere from 1-21 using just over 400 credits.
The balls spins and it pops in 19! This is my 2nd best number having 45 chips on or around it in total. 15 straight up and 30 split! 1080 credits (£540) from that spin. Messed about for a couple more spins and left the machine with 1100 credits (£550). A bad day turned good! Much better than playing the rigged FOBT's
First time I had been the casino in a while think I will take another break :P

lol can people stop editing my posts!!! Of course they're not rigged!

JG edit: As the number one suspect for post editing that does not contain multiple edited chef references, I would like to stand forward and say I'm 72% certain (+6% when drunk) that I did not edit your posting in that instance.

Avoid those fobt machines

I notice quite a few people mentioning that they think FOBT roulette machines are rigged here. As a former player of those, I concur. There were so many highly strange occurences on those virtual wheels when I played, that I can only conclude they were either rigged or just very heavily programmed in the house's favour. BLOOP! I agree that you should avoid them - there are much better online alternatives that are much safer.

I wrote an article about this some time ago: http://beatthecasinos.blogspot.com/2007 ... -fobt.html and here's a better option if you want to play a similar styled game http://beatthecasinos.blogspot.com/2008 ... lette.html.
