right, I rarely play roulette, but dumped about £60 in it over the last month in Random attempts......
A friend of mine plays roulette all the time, and he ALWAYS hits stuff... He puts a £20 note in and puts like 40p on numbers and always hits the profit zone (a healthy profit) then quite often spins it away without collecting which baffles us a bit!!

EVERY TIME I play, I do the same thing as him (similar stakes) and never hit a thing........

Interesting thing aswell came from an experiement today. About a month ago I went onto roulette and there were about 8/9 Red numbers come out in a row on the previous 8/9 spins. I put £1 on red thinking a BLACK would come in, or another red. Span it and Zero came in.....

Same thing today, about 8/9 blacks in a row. I put £1 on Black and £13 on Zero. Hit 26 Black (right next to zero) Really thought I was onto something......
I cant win ever at roulette...... Cant hit anything! not skillful enough? or bad luck? Im not just referring to that spin. Im referring to it in general. If I cover 34 Numbers out of 37 one of the 3 blanks will spin in!!

From personal experience over a fair few years, there are no systems for roulette unless the table has a bias. The only way you would win is to save up £50,000 and go to a large casino and get permission to put it on an even money bet ie red/black, high/low, odd/even.

You can always get a significant statistical deviation over a small sample of events. Simulate several thousand for a true picture.

i'm sure i can remember something on sky a few years back where some geezer sold everything he owned and put the lot on red/black and he won, think he put something like 80k on??? fair play too him, that takes some bottle, anyone else see this?

I think you should have a system even if it does not work, because the argument against a system is counter intuitive, if having a system has no effect on the outcome it matters not if you use one or not.

I think you should have a system for psychological reasons, as long as you do not confuse luck with skill.

Confusing luck with skill will ALWAYS make you lose money.

I tend to play sections of the table that have not run for awhile, i do this for psychological reasons, if i pick a different section and see a number that has not come up for awhile come up, i'll get annoyed LOL

Surely any 'psychological reason' is ONLY to serve the purpose of making someone believe it is more skill than luck?

The mentality of "Number (insert any number) must come in soon" prevails.

Most players don't realise that the odds of your favourite number not coming in for 100 consecutive spins are only about 15/1. By then you will be skint chasing losses.

I've been to the bookie's tonight and thrown 70 quid away in the roulette.I have noticed that certain number's play for a few spin's before throwing off and then back on again.It's just wank.Stay off them. Go out and get rat- arsed pissed instead. Im sure everyone who play's it try's to guess,predict the next number to win a tidy amount.Even when i do actually find a winner and get my bank upto a nice amount i still have that "one more press" which is a big mistake.I try to limit myself to an amount i can waste away instead nof blowing all that's left in my wallet.
