70ers whats the general vibes?

Post by autonudge »

i stopped playing a while ago and just limit myself to the odd punt but last night after one too many beers i got comitted to a dond of some sorts. Anyway was playing 1 quid go and forcing the hell out of it and after 68 in i get gaw for 80 quid. Next board took cob for 40. Nice result i thought until i came here and saw some of the posts. Just wondered what people thought of the 70 machines. Get stuck in or avoid? Did i have a lucky escape? Can they be forced from the off?

Had a go on DOND the other day. Would have got more enjoyment burning £100. Only other machine I played was Family Guy, which played quite reasonably. Extremely small sample, I know, but I doubt if I'll play AWP's in the forseeable future.
Roulette free since December 2011.

£35ers weren't awful, they were great. £70s are just generally a continuation of what you had before, still plenty out there to make decent on.

I'm having excellent results on the £70ers, including this one below on a Crazy Chair of all things! :)

I go by the following rule though: £1 a play on Reds, 50p a play for anything else. ;)

difference being, you'd fancy your chances on selected 15 pound jpts, mr chandler was probably thinking 'no chance' more likely to want it off the line so not to discourage play.
