£70 jackpot experiences

Post by sir ratholer »

Ok, so for those of us who have yet to see a £70 pot or play one on their travels - what joys are in store for us??

What's the biggest top/roll so far?
Who's been barred for a £70 pot yet?
Any other amusing stories?
Bored of the grind.

Just off on the lash now, hope to add some (positive) results later, not holding my breath though.

Basically think of how gameplay changed from 25 to 35, blocks stayed the same, just the last block was a lot bigger.

Now double it.

Now double it.
-And forget any 'skilled in' tops,
-And forget any quick rips,
-And forget any 'guaranteed' £140s / £210s when a Red continues a top,
-And forget any profit.

...by the sounds of it anyway, not seen one yet myself... :(

Yeah, i think a £70 top cant be classed as flat now either. As the progs haven't changed much on the altered reds, you pretty much put in what you would on a £35 for just a guaranteed £70 instead of a red £70 on a £35er. Still money to be made, but the machines to make on have been vastly chopped. Very early days yet though.

seriously dean an extra 10 pound ,,,,,,,,,, shocking

but i predicted with this increase , that they were going to try to blow out the pro player element .

early yet ,,,,,,, granted ,,,,,,,,,,,,, but signs not looking too good

Well if they're trying to blow out the the pro player then who are gonna play them? Joe public fell out of love with £35 jps, do the powers that be really think the romance can be rekindled with these £70ers? I doubt it.

And yes, I know they are dual/multi staked and there will always be addicts and munters but seriously to alienate pros could really be the final nail in the coffin.

I went in an arcade today (first time for a coupla years in this place) while the missus went in Primarni - there was 2 punters!! This said arcade was rammed a few years ago, all the latest machines along with a few classics....it was quite sad to see really.

Anyway, has everyone upped their float with the introduction of the bigger jackpots?
