WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY AREA?

Post by SilverSurfer »

Has anyone ever been asked this? Threatened with "Why are you doing my stuff?" Told "Don't come back!"?
What makes people think they can say this?
Also, when 2 players who have never met before see each other for the first time, do either of them REALLY think that the other will tell them anything if they trade numbers? After all, they are competitors! Surely trading info would only work if they live very far away from each other!
Is it disrespectful if you know another person is on top of an area, to go and try to ruin his routine and try to take over from them? Do some people go to towns knowing they'll lose just to screw up the next player?
Answers please!

I have it on good authority that a prick I used to speak to suggested keeping on top of certain machines in my area(winning or not) just to piss me off and try and keep me and some of my more decent playing mates away and out of pocket. Yet this is my home town!!!

Anybody is/was welcome, if I started to find things dead, I'd just up my appearance and if it meant doing everything daily then so be it!! I guess as most of the stuff was within walking distance from my house and the other less than 10 mins drive away there would only be one winner if it came to such childish behaviour.

Total c**t who has managed at some point to just about piss off every other player he's been around with.

Sad really................................

as far as I'm concerned, anyone can go where they want. Some fat knob tried threatening me in petts wood last year an offered me outside! I went outside and waited for him to "waste me" like he said he would, but he suddenly changed his mind! I like to get on with all players - even if I see them in an area I frequent - but if they want to get nasty, I'll never back down. Why should I?

Surprisingly, I agree.

If you're in 'my town' and you wanna play the fruits, then so be it. It's not like players don't stand out a mile if they're playing something 'good'. It never does any harm to be civil and talk to them (if for no other reason to find out where else they've been locally).

As for the guy referenced above, far from me to get involved in others disputes but to deliberately play "someone elses fruits" for gain OR loss with the sole intention of pissing them off is VERY petty.

Not such a big deal for me as I play mainly for fun and an excuse to drink lots of lager (of varying quality) but for those making a living, cooperation is the only way forward.

in answer to your other question ,. i have took an area off another player before but he wasnt doing it regular , so i felt it was worth the battle.

i went there everyday and lost on purpose but made sure everything was flat , then i went every 2 days and played the stuff worth playing only and as far as i know i am the only player there now, however i dont class the machines as mine , if people play them then good luck to them, all i know is they wont do very well , however i have been a little slack recently so who knows .

i also tried to take over chesterfield , i repeated the above process , and killed everything off everyday for a week , but the guy/guys that are doing it did it to me back and some of the games were further down than the day before.

i resorted to note tactics, not playing them but noting the shit out of em till there well down and proceeded to take any value... they did it back !!! congrats to the chesterfield lads i have been defeated. i wont be back.

I must admit I used to make good money in minehead, but once the owner of Merlins saw me hit a roman reels on caesars he banned me. Once that happens you know you are on thin ice everywhere else as the place is so cliquey. The following day I got kicked off the battleaxe in the hotel, but it'd been there for about 3 years so I wasn't too bothered.

Haven't been back for years, apart from an adult weekend at butlins which was a good laugh.

Has anyone noticed how the seagulls fly upside down in Minehead? I was curious, so I asked a local. He said it was because Minehead isn't worth shitting on......

i ventured to minehead 6 or 7 weeks ago , met up with lugs , and wound him up first , having the advantage of his mug shot on here helped ,

anyhow my view on the town was that it seemed one of those small clicky places where everyone knows everyone ,,, and that it wouldn't take long for your face and skills to get the ringround treatment ,,,, def not the place for a resident pro .

a real one hit wonder if anyone's got owt fresh and is considering a visit,,,,
