New Kid On The Block

That's if you can call a 43yr old bloke a kid. Been monitoring this site for sometime and enjoy the banter between some of you. Finally thought that I had better introduce myself. Like I said 43yrs old. Been playing bandits since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I started on the old style pull the handle bandits. Then progressed through the years to what's about know. I'm sure somebody will enlighten me or put me straight on this. Years ago I felt it was down to a little bit of skill like knowing the reels. I was always able to stop the flashing nudges on 9, and a lot of it was down to knowing when somebody had filled a machine up. Now it seems the computer chips decide whether or not you'll win. I keep seeing all the talk about cheats, hints and tips. Who discovers that if you press this and then stop it on S***L 5 times you'll get a mega streak on a certain bandit? I take my hat and clothes off to you. I know nobody gives anything for nothing, but how do you get to learn your first tip so that you can trade with somebody? I work full time and play the fruities usually whilst waiting for my takeaway to cook. There was a time when I could stick my beer change in and come away with a £10-£15 profit. Enough to cover the cost of my takeaway. Now it seems you need a ton in your pocket to take out £110-£120.
Best ever win $4,500 in Vegas on my 40th. I would say that 7/10 times I come home with a profit of about £10-£15. Not bad as I am usually playing for about 30 minutes. So if anybody out there would like to start me off with my first, tip/cheat please don't be shy. I appreciate that a few of you have a very dry and wicked sense of humour and may well slag me off. But as I said we all have to start with our first tip/cheat to share. I do know that some of you will tell me to let 'em spin after a losing nudge or hold again for the 3rd time. But if you don't ask you won't get.
For those of you worried my increase in knowledge will effect your earnings I live in Staffordshire and only get out to play once or twice a fortnight due to working shifts and having 2 young children.
Naturally if I ever get to hear of a tip I will be more than happy to return the favour as and when I learn them.

Welcome mate. At least you took the time to introduce yourself. As for tips and cheats they wont be published within the forum unless common knowledge. All done through PM's or through the VIP forum (which doesnt exist but does)....you have to ask for an invite from Matt Vinyl or Matt B.

Thanks for that Rob. A very gentle introduction to the site. I didn't expect a shed load of tips on my first post. I have ticked the box to show my e mail address so who knows. Just off now to take my 5 year old footie training. Will log in later and see if anybody feels like being kind to me.

It's nice to see TEKNOWARRIOR that you spent all 'my money' on your education.
I consider it money well spent. It would have grieved me to think that you'd wasted it all on bottles of White Lightning and Skunk whilst sitting in your council owned abode ripping the mick out of 'mug' punters like me. Keep it up you work shy fop.
Who knows maybe one day we'll bump into each other and I can shake you warmly by the throat.

Still, fair play to you. I've been dropping things all my life and never dropped something "sourly".

Does this mean I have now been usurped in the old bastard category and as such Fruitchat will be withdrawing my bus pass, access to the retirement vip section and will be asking for my coin collector and free mug back ?

Gambogaz1 it's mainly the usual suspects. There's a couple of Ant & Decs Jiggy banks. Several variations of DOND. There's a Showtime that is absolute pants, never seen anybody get anything from that. An old style Smash The Martians and a brand new Cop a load of this I think it was called. I might be out tomorrow getting a takeaway so I'll bring a pen and paper with me to write them all down. How are you anyway and where do you ply your trade?

I was seeing what you got as I play in the same area, although staffordshire is a big area. Can't be that close as I aint seen a Smash martians for nearly a year and I'm yet to see a coppa load of this.

I live in Tamworth and work in Birmingham. Only play the bandits in the pubs local to me not all over Tamworth. Believe me I'm no threat to yours or anybodies else's profits. As I said previously I work shifts. So only play the bandits when getting a takeaway which is on average once a fortnight. The Smash The Martians is a £25 jackpot so there may be a few old tricks that might work. But unfortunately for me don't know any. I do alright when I do play. 7/10 can usually make enough to cover the takeaway and a couple of pints, £20 or thereabouts . Sometimes I even get the odd Mega Streak and come away £20- £30 up. Just looking for a little hint/tip/cheat so that I may increase my profit margin. Good to chat with you anyway. Out for a takeaway tomorrow, wife has just asked if we can afford it. I said we can if we raid the kids piggy banks.

How do you get on and where are you plying your trade.
