Fruit Machine Chat

Hey all.
I'm a newbie so apologies if my question is stupid.
But I just bought a barcrest crazy trails (take it or leave it) and it's noisy, as in a constant whiney sound.
This only goes off when the reels spin, apart from that it's a constant annoying tone.
I thought it may be the speakers so disconnected them but it wasn't.
Was told the noise is quite normal but you don't hear them in pubs etc.
Any advice or help would be appreciated.

its normal,u dont notice it in pubs cause they are already noisy

yea its normal.sometimes certain powerpacks are noisier than others and even the bulbs when on attract mode can make noise.its cos your house is quiet that you notice what you wouldnt in the noisy arcade/pub or if youre lucky,lapdancing club!
