Hi my name is niel im from Bridlington and new to all this gaming probably gone straight in at the deep end and bought a pinball along with a couple of machines its the pinball I have a query on
the pinball is Bally Gilligans Island its working 99% im just having a little trouble with the wheel/ motor I bought the pin with the wheel not turning but had seen it working the previous day thought it was the motor
This is what its doing the opto lock is functioning ok and the readouts are correct on the matrix are right ie the 1 and 0 and when its locked /unlocked I get around 61 volts at the plug for the motor, question 1 is this the correct voltage when the wheel is aligned,2 does the motor have to be fixed in position in order for it to turn as in taking a ground from the metal securing plate,3 is the motor polarised as in pos and neg as both the wires are brown, the relay seems to be working ok just could do with a little advice or pointers on things to check as to why the motor does not turn it clicks when energised and I bought a new motor from pinball heaven and that does the same thanks in advance niel
