Brummie Brummie Brummie.
Let's talk about travelling when playing fruits. Do you ever get self conscious about your accent???
Although not from Birmingham directly, it has been noted that people from Houvenetenetary, Loomington Spa, Warwick etc all sound like 'posh Brummies'
I don't mind floating slightly up North or popping down the smoke. I don't mind tractoring it up or even, shuuut aaahp, Essex. Even Barnsley or Blackburn not too bad. However bar Scotland and Geordie/mackam areas there s one area that strikes fear into my soul. That area is.....the South West. In fact anywhere near the English/welsh border.
I just feel like a non local intrusive Brummie. Can anyone teach me to do a proper SW accent? I want to sound Loooooooooocal.
